Well... it probably isn’t very original to say that I am extremely excited for Spain, so I will get that out of the way now: I am extremely excited for Spain!
I am looking forward to making many new friends, and going to new places. I think that sometimes we get bogged down in our day to day lives and everything loses a little color. The same people, the same places and yea the same culture is such a drag sometimes.
I am stoked to have a chance to really learn and experience a Spanish culture over the course of the month. I hope to apply myself enough that I can be proud of what I learn when I come back. I look forward to the challenge of using my pathetic amount of Spanish to conquer Europe!
Honestly, I am not nervous in the least for this trip. I must admit though I will miss my friends and my dog Sonny very much. Here is a picture of him:

I think I am the exact opposite! I am really nervous to be living with a family!
